Georgia is home to more than 75 supply chain and logistics-related technology companies' headquarters or major operations. Of those 75, some are internationally known like Amazon, Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot, and GreyOrange.

The Center understands how vital technology is for planning, operating, and improving supply chain efficiency and reliability.  The Center staff engages with a variety of logistics technology experts to assist companies with determining where to invest and deploy technology to enhance their logistics and improve their competitiveness in the national and global marketplace.

The Center provides insight into current and emerging technology solutions and accelerates connections to innovative answers for operational challenges. 
  • Partners with technology experts from the industry and Georgia's top universities to assist companies in enhancing their logistics and competitiveness in the national and global marketplaces. 
  • Assists cargo-owning and logistics businesses, like UPS, with determining where to invest and learn about connections to technology solutions that are best suited for their operations.
  • Provides educational opportunities through the annual Georgia Logistics Summit, hosts workshops for learning best practices and available technology solutions, and partners with relevant groups to increase awareness and understanding of technologies and technology trends.

The center can provide insight into e-commerce, mobile commerce, end-to-end supply-chain visibility, and current and emerging solutions to technological advancements through their advanced knowledge of the Georgia marketplace.
