Vidalia Apicultural Services and Bee Company | 2021 Small Business Rock Star

Heather Davis and Henry Price met after Heather contacted Henry for information on honey bees and apiculture. At the time, Price was working for the Georgia Department of Agriculture, while Davis was assisting Stanley Farms with its work in pollination. From this work meeting between two industry professionals, the idea of Vidalia Apicultural Services and Bee Company was born. 
 
Vidalia Apicultural Services and Bee Company started as a pollination service. In 2016, after a few years of helping farmers with pollination efforts, they decided to start selling bee packages. Their business took off!

Today, with more than 10,000 honeybee hives, the growing company offers pollination services, beekeeping equipment, queen bees, bee packages, and more. Vidalia Apicultural Services also has a gift shop with bee products including honey, wax products, and handmade cosmetics.  

Vidalia Apicultural Services and Bee Company is now one of the top three commercial apiaries in the state. They have been chosen as a 2021 Small Business Rock Star for Region 9 because of their important work in the agricultural industry.
