How does the Georgia Center of Innovation fit into this Ecosystem?

As a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Centers are a resource designed to help Georgia companies of all shapes and sizes overcome innovation challenges. The Centers provide value-added services to assist companies in Georgia's key industries to develop new products, services, and markets through partnerships with state, federal and private institutions that comprise Georgia's 'Innovation Ecosystem.'  COI also serves as a primary resource within the Georgia Department of Economic Development and to local economic development organizations for industry-specific expertise and connection to the state's Innovation Ecosystem. To accomplish the COI mission, it is important to be a reliable and trusted partner within the Innovation Ecosystem in Georgia to foster the expanded utilization by Georgia companies of those organizations and resources that fuel industry innovation in the state.
