CASTING CROWNS GARNERS ANOTHER PLATINUM AWARD

Georgia state logo NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 4, 2007 – As the biggest-selling act in contemporary Christian music for the past two years, Casting Crowns adds another Platinum accolade to their stellar list of accomplishments with the band's Lifesong Live DVD project (October 3, 2006) hitting RIAA Platinum status, recognizing shipments of over 100,000 units. This marks the band's fourth consecutive RIAA Platinum award for each of its four releases, including the group's two CD projects, Lifesong and the self-titled debut, Casting Crowns, and the 2004 DVD release Casting Crowns: Live From Atlanta. This fall finds Casting Crowns releasing its third studio project, The Altar and The Door, on August 28th, and then hitting the road on a massive headlining tour from September through December.
