Dell Keith

Dell Keith was named Executive Director of the Wayne County Industrial Development Authority in January 2016. He is responsible for attracting jobs and creating capital investment in Wayne County through the recruitment, expansion and retention of industry and business. Prior to this position, Keith served as President of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce.
Keith began and spent much of his career in the banking industry, beginning in 1979 at American National Bank, later purchased by Barnett Bank, in Jesup, Georgia. He was hired by SunTrust Bank as Senior Vice President and Division Head of the Jesup and Screven offices in 1998. Then in 2003, he accepted the position of President/CEO of Bryan Bank in Richmond Hill, Georgia, where he was responsible for the operation and profitability of the $245M financial institution until his retirement in 2014.

Keith has always been active in his community, serving on many non-profit, community and industry boards in leadership positions including Richmond Hill and Wayne County Chambers of Commerce, Bryan County and Wayne County Industrial Development Authorities, Okefenokee Area Council of Boy Scouts of America. He currently serves on Wayne County's Partners In Education board, he is chairman of United Way of South Georgia's board of directors, and is a member of First Baptist Church of Jesup. In 1991, he was appointed Lieutenant Colonel Aide De Camp ~ Governor's Staff by Governor Zell Miller and was named State of Georgia's FBLA Businessman of the Year.
