Rock Stars Spotlight: Azalea Health Innovations

In today's technologically advanced society, those raised in the digital era have come to expect digital solutions to real life problems – even in healthcare. The founders of Azalea Health Innovations are dedicated to closing the gap between people and quality health care through the use of cloud-based health information technology.
Azalea Health Innovations co-founders Baha Zeidan and Douglas Sword, who were working at a medical laboratory company at the time, discovered a problem that needed fixing.

After realizing that outdated EHRs used by health professionals were clunky and confusing, the pair set out to create an intuitive, easy-to-use healthcare IT solution that harnesses the power of cloud-based technology to connect the clinical side with the financial side of healthcare practices.

Today, Azalea Health's innovation team is dedicated to delivering strategic solutions to fit their customers' needs. Their focus on customer satisfaction and the user-experience led them to leverage social media tools to keep current clients in the loop and attract new customers.

Azalea Health is also a partner of the community and hosts regular webinars and online demos to educate their clientele, sponsors an annual 'Hack-a-thon' for programming students of Valdosta State University and Wiregrass Technical College, supports charities such as South Georgia Health Alliance, the local Rotary scholarship program, Relay for Life – Adel Memorial Hospital and more.
