Georgia Department of Economic Development awards Web Site development contract to Spunlogic

GA_USA_vertical_smallATLANTA, July 11, 2006 - The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) announced today it has contracted with Atlanta-based Spunlogic as its interactive marketing and advertising agency of record. The contract, which began July 1, covers development and maintenance for the department's Web site, Georgia.org, ensuring that it remains a vital tool in attracting businesses, travelers and entertainment projects to the state.

'We look forward to learning from Spunlogic's expertise as we explore new and creative ways to promote Georgia's outstanding business and tourism assets to our global markets,' said Gilda Watters, marketing and communications director for GDEcD. 'Their experience will be a great resource in helping us make Georgia.org as useful as possible to our customers.'

Spunlogic, founded in 1998, will support Georgia.org by providing Web site development and database management while working with GDEcD's divisions and industry partners to increase Georgia.org's usability. The company will build upon the award-winning site that was redesigned and launched last September.
