Fortune 500

Sixteen Fortune 500 companies have their global headquarters in Georgia, while 32 Fortune 1000 businesses make Georgia their home base.

In 2010, NCR became the most recent Fortune 500 company to choose Georgia when it relocated its global headquarters to Duluth. Access to new markets, proximity to the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Georgia’s quality of life factored heavily into NCR’s decision. The company also opened two additional facilities, including a North American manufacturing plant in Columbus, Georgia.
