Pedro Cherry

Pedro Cherry serves as senior vice president of Metro Atlanta Region for Georgia Power. In this role, he is responsible for operations, sales, customer service, economic and community development and external affairs activities for 1.2 million customers across metro Atlanta.

Cherry earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and an MBA in operations management and finance from Auburn University. He serves on the board of the Atlanta Police Foundation, Central Atlanta Progress, the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Latin American Association, and the Georgia Department of Economic Development. He is chairman of the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance. Cherry is also a member of the CFA Institute, the NAACP and Auburn’s Alumni Engineering Advisory Council.

Pedro, his wife, Tomeka, and their two children, reside in Atlanta.
