The GDEcD includes a specialized Innovation and Technology Office (ITO) that can provide access to the best corporate and public resources to accelerate the transformation of ideas and visions into profitable businesses.

The ITO team works with communities, companies and institutions all over the state to identify and cultivate the exceptional talent critical to keeping Georgia on the leading edge of research, product development and groundbreaking advances in science and technology.
ITO Project Managers work with key players in the state’s broadband, bioscience, advanced communications and information technology and other science and technology industries to vigorously recruit new companies and support the growth of Georgia’s existing industry.
Along with other organizations like the Georgia Research Alliance, the Advanced Technology Development Center, the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents and the Georgia Biomedical Partnership, the ITO harnesses the state’s collaborative resources and ultimately helps you achieve growth in Georgia’s science and technology industries.
