Agritourism

Agritourism

Agriculture is the #1 economic generator in the state of Georgia and Tourism is #2. The combination of these two important industries is AGRITOURISM.

Georgia has a rich variety of agritourism assets. Many of our farms have tours, animal petting areas, rides, mazes, cabins for retreats and leisure stays, and educational components, to name a few activities and reasons to visit. Families are looking for more activities to experience together, corporate executives are looking for pastoral areas away from the hustle and bustle of the city for their retreats.

There are many dozens of Pick-Your-Own locations around the state of Georgia with thousands of visitors each year. Georgia is the peach state! There is a thriving and well respected Georgia Wine Industry in the state, and jams and jellies are the #3 souvenir visitor’s take home. Learn more by watching our Agriculture Week Video!
