Mike Tinney, President, CCP North America

As the President of CCP North America, Mike Tinney manages the North American office for CCP and global operations for its subsidiary, White Wolf Publishing. Mr. Tinney began working with White Wolf in November of 1993 when he and his business partner merged their special events game company with White Wolf and began to develop Mind's Eye Theater (Live Action), a then-emerging trend in gaming. Over the next nine years, Mike went on to undertake a variety of projects and roles within the company including: RPG book development, event planning, CCG design, IP design, merchandising, marketing, licensing and new business development. He was appointed President and CEO of White Wolf in 2002, retaining that role until the company merged with CCP in 2006.

 

Reynir Harðarson, Founder / Creative Director

As the founder of CCP in 1997 and the creator of EVE Online, Mr. Harðarson has fused creativity, determination and vision to earn a place in the forefront of the game industry. Now acting as the Creative Director, overseeing the production of a suite of products ranging from online multiplayer games to tabletop RPGs and collectible card games, Reynir was the original Art Director for EVE until 2004. As the Design Director for OZ.com, he was responsible for all of the major graphic projects including the interface for a real-time VRML browser, OZ Virtual, which played a major role in the company’s success. Before joining OZ, Reynir worked at the Reykjavik advertising agencies Rita and Hvita Husid. He has also taught graphic design at the Akureyri School of Art in Iceland.

 

Ryan S. Dancey, Chief Marketing Officer
Ryan Dancey leads the global CCP Sales and Marketing team.  His prior experience includes co-founding a successful regional ISP, development of a best-selling collectible card game, and extensive mergers and acquisitions work in the entertainment industry.  He was the Vice President for Tabletop Roleplaying Games and the Brand Manager for Dungeons & Dragons at Hasbro subsidiary Wizards of the Coast, where he was responsible for leading the team that produced the record-shattering 3rd Edition of D&D.  He also developed the Open Gaming License and the D20 System Trademark License.  He has licensed and developed products for a wide range of entertainment properties including Star Wars, Star Trek, Pokémon and Harry Potter.  He has received several ORIGINS Awards for excellence in game design & development, and the marketing campaign he developed for Dungeons & Dragons won the Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America.
