Thank you for your interest in the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office’s Camera Ready program! Counties throughout the state can use this exciting new program to showcase their best assets to film and television scouts seeking the perfect locale for upcoming projects.
Camera Ready is scheduled to launch in Fall 2010, but if you are a county official you can register now by filling out our Camera Ready Survey. We will then let you know when the program launches and how your county can obtain a Camera Ready designation!
You may also download the following documents which explain in more detail the tremendous opportunities film and television production could potentially bring to your community:
1. The Qualitative and Quantitative Benefits of Film-Induced Tourism in Georgia (PDF) is a study on the historical impact that feature films and television programs have had on tourism in the communities where they were filmed.
2. Introduction to On-Location Shooting (PDF) presents an overview of what to expect when a film or television show shoots in your area, and how you can continue to attract production.
We will be posting additional information on Camera Ready in the coming months so bookmark this page and be sure to check back often.
