Since our office was formed in 1973, Georgia has been the location of choice for hundreds of film and television productions, along with a burgeoning video game industry and one of the world’s largest and most renowned music scenes.
Georgia offers a state tax credit of up to 30%, along with a sales & use tax exemption, for qualified productions. This includes not only traditional projects such as feature films and television programs, but also innovative new industries such as video game development and animation.

Along with our extensive rail and highway systems, Georgia is also home to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s busiest. Frequently referred to as the “Music Capital of the South,” Georgia is home to one of the world’s largest networks of music artists, composers, producers, engineers and other professionals. Numerous GRAMMY® winners and nominees with Georgia ties have added to our world renowned music heritage.
Georgia has recently been chosen by over 50 video game developers and development companies as home to their exciting new projects. Many trade publications have praised Georgia as a new center for video game production, with one ranking the state as number four in the nation in compensation levels for game developers.
