What would you like to be doing, career-wise, in 15 years? Include where you would like to be doing this.
I would like to become a Lead Level Developer for a gaming studio or the Executive Producer in one of the top ten gaming companies in the United States. To help me achieve this goal I am learning how to program video games, and experiment with different gaming engines. I look forward to the exhilaration of seeing something that I help create being a top seller around the world. I would like to be in the U.S when I accomplish my goal, Florida or California preferably.

Scholarships, honors, and awards
I volunteered at Dragon Con, representing DeVry University. There I showcased a few levels of my game and discussed the game and game engine with other gamers.

Why did you choose Video gaming?
Video game development has always been a passion for me. The freedom of creation hooked me on the industry. The very idea that you could create someone’s wildest fantasy, no matter how obscure, with some imagination and knowledge of programming was just too good to pass up.

Tell us about the program at DeVry?
I am a senior this year at DeVry University and take part in several different academic courses. The Game and Simulation Programming major at DeVry University is a Bachelor of Science degree program, taught by industry leaders who have had experience programming in the gaming field. Their knowledge of the industry is invaluable in our classes. The atmosphere at DeVry is allows me to can draw ideas from my classmates and that is especially helpful when it feels like I’ve reached a roadblock.

If you could design and/or produce a video game, what would it be?
I would design a new adventure game with the same basic concepts as the Dynasty Warrior Series, but this one would revolve around European landmark battles and revolts. I envision it as a fun, painless way for students to learn world history. The storyline and premise would leave room to develop a sequel if sales went well.
