What would you like to be doing, career-wise, in 15 years? Include where you would like to doing this. I would love to be the lead designer and/or lead programmer on moderate to large sized video game projects. I would like to have opened up my own game developing company and operate under some sort of second-party business model, yet still be able to have my say in how the company operates. I would oversee how games were designed, who they would be marketed to, and similar tasks
Scholarships, Honors, and Awards None that come to mind. (o_o’)
Why did you Choose Videogaming? Video games have always been a passion in my life, but I have not always been so attached to them. To me, they are a different form of entertainment, the interaction, the sense of accomplishment; these things seem to be required to have fun sometimes. Games can be very helpful, to increase hand-eye coordination, create leadership skills, exercise the body, and even exercise the mind, most of time, without being aware of any of it. This is why I chose to develop video games. The best way I can make an impact on someone’s life: through developing a meaningful game.
Tell us about the program at GTC.
I am currently a freshman at Gwinnett Tech. Seeing as how popular multiplayer games are, such as WoW, and Halo, multiplayer networking programmers are one of the jobs in the game industry with the highest demand. That is why I plan to study Networking as well as the Simulation/Game Development program. I believe it is the best place to start, because at Gwinnett Tech, you can learn a lot of industry specific knowledge, really quickly, and jump right into working. The program encompasses many relevant topics, such as: AI, physics, and even advanced game developmental techniques.
If you could develop and/or produce a video game, what would it be?I multiplayer game, that would slightly resemble an operating system. It would have one basic gaming platform, shooter, be it first-person, or third-person, but it could easily be transformed into something new, with porting. This game would come in two versions, one, proprietary version, tuned to specific home hardware, and another similar, open-source version. Game development has been around for a while, but, when compared to other types of media, and software, open-source games are lacking. Creating a game that had both proprietary and open-source elements, which also had interoperability with each other, would create a constant flow of ideas, and features, and I think, would create a revolutionary game.

List your hobbies and interests.
I enjoy playing video games, of all genres. I play soccer on occasion, recreationally on a team with my brother. I enjoy refereeing soccer as well. I love to learn about the computer industry and I have an interest of actively and constantly finding out new things about computers. Movies are a big thing for me, I love it to be moved emotionally by a movie and I try to watch often. I enjoy watching anime as well. I listen to popular, top 40 music encompassing all genres, but my favorite is alternative rock.
