Creative Economies

What is the Creative Economies Initiative?
Georgia’s Creative Economies Initiative is being led by the Georgia Tourism Foundation and will directly impact the state’s cultural and heritage tourism economic sustainability and future growth. This initiative will provide a structured program for identifying Georgia’s artists and crafts enthusiasts, compiling contact data as well as a needs analysis categorized by creative genre.

What is in it for me and why should I participate?
Engagement with the initiative will nurture, and provide professional and business development for local artists and crafts enthusiasts. This initiative will allow for levels of business development whereby artists, entertainers, crafts people, agribusiness entrepreneurs, festival planners and authors can select from individual regional workshops, summits and symposiums to more formal options including a 12 month business development program.
