Building Entrepreneurial Communities

Building Entrepreneurial Communities

Make Your Community Entrepreneur Friendly

In order to best support entrepreneurs and business owners, state and local leadership became more aware of how they think, what they need and how they do business through training programs such as E2, Economic Gardening, professional development and national workshops.  Learn more.

Georgia’s “Entrepreneur Friendly’ (“EF”) Initiative leads local leadership teams through a set of key guidelines that indentifies resources, entrepreneurs and needs, and creates stimulus to begin building sustainable support programs, incorporating into the community’s overall economic development plan.

Sustain an Entrepreneur Environment

Entrepreneur & Small Business Strategic Planning – A facilitated session that transitions the data learned from the “EF” process into do-able goals with implementation plans, time lines and champions who will lead the efforts.

Community Best Practices

Best Practices – Provides access to what Georgia’s 129 EF communities are doing to build and sustain an entrepreneur environment.

Professional Development for Practitioners

A twice-yearly gathering of the “EF” communities in a central location provides networking , the sharing of best practices, professional development and being apprised of current topics and trends.  A biennial Entrepreneur Summit is hosted by Georgia’s Governor and the ESB Coordinating Network, providing hundreds of practitioners with resources, workshops and key note speakers.
