Sustainability and Professional Development

Sustain an Entrepreneur Environment

In order to capitalize on the knowledge the local leadership collected either during the “EF” process or as a result of the changing economy, challenges and opportunities that present themselves at any given time, we provide facilitated strategic planning sessions, brainstorming opportunities and professional development.

Strategic planning is critical as it provides vision, goal setting and implementation strategies. This service is offered at any time the community feels a need to strengthen efforts, re-focus or to just re-energize the leadership.

Professional Development for the entrepreneur & small business (ESB) development practitioner is important for networking, sharing of best practices and gaining more tools to help their local businesses. Georgia provides two “EF” Professional Development Days each year where the “EF” communities gather in a central location to share best practices, network and hear topical speakers. The biennial Entrepreneur Summit (March 2 - 3, 2010) is hosted by Georgia’s Governor and the ESB Coordinating Network

Frequent email blasts are sent to alert our “EF” communities to marketing and trade mission opportunities, share best practices and provide ongoing resource awareness.
