Statewide Coordinating Network

Statewide Coordinating Network

Created February 5, 2004 by Executive Order by Governor Sonny Perdue, the Georgia Entrepreneur & Small Business Coordinating Network is a multi-agency, both state and federal, group charged to coordinate the state's entrepreneur and small business initiatives.

These initiatives include efforts such as cross training, cross marketing, advocacy and service delivery efficiency. The Network sponsors the biennial Entrepreneur Summit (March 2 - 3, 2010, details soon to be listed) which provides continuing entrepreneur development education to Georgia’s community leaders and exposes them best practices from youth development to creative and innovative means to grow entrepreneur and small business development.

During the first two years of development, the Network met with entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout the state to gather information on needs and issues, which resulted in many initiatives including the OneGeorgia ESB Loan Guarantee Fund.

The network will continue to meet annually with Georgia's ESBs to stay abreast of issues, trends and concerns.
