Safety & Your Bottom Line

Always include your federally required safety policy as a critical component to starting your business.  The cost of injury to a business greatly affects your bottom line in ways you might not have considered.   From 2002 to 2007, 52 percent of the total number of construction fatalities in Georgia involved companies with 25 employees or less. Thirty percent of fatalities occur among employers with 10 or fewer employees.  If injury costs are low, your workmen’s comp costs are low.

OSHA's "Safety Pays" program is an interactive ‘ask the expert’ resource to assist employers in estimating the costs of occupational injuries and illnesses and the impact on a company's profitability.
