The state of Georgia offers you and your small business access to a statewide Vendor Registration System. This system serves as the central site for you to register as a vendor and do business with the state. By registering, you'll also receive email notifications on contract opportunities.
Additionally, the Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) hosts a series of monthly seminars geared to the small and minority business communities. These seminars feature information on how to register your company to the state bidder's list and establish eligibility to receive bid invitations. You'll receive general information about the purchasing process and the various kinds of acquisitions that are made by state purchasing. Time is also allotted for questions and answers.
The seminars are held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the James H. “Sloppy” Floyd Building, located northeast of the State Capital. There is no registration required. For more information, visit the DOAS website.
Once registered, you can also search the Georgia Procurement Registry for opportunities to do business with the state. This registry gives state agencies, cities, counties and local school systems the ability to post their bid opportunities and allows you the chance to submit a bid on behalf of your business.Georgia Business Resources: Georgia Business Calendar Georgia Business NewsletterInternational Offices Innovation and Technology Entrepreneur and Small Business Existing Industry SupportFilm, Video & MusicGeorgia Workforce Available Buildings Georgia Allies
