Georgia’s outstanding livability makes doing business here a pleasure, and gives you a distinct advantage in attracting and keeping quality employees. From an affordable cost of living and outstanding healthcare system to unmatched cultural and entertainment options, Georgia offers a variety of resources that make the state a great place to live, work and play.

A lower cost of living enables you to do more with the money you make, and maintain a higher standard of living. Want to buy a house? With low property tax and real estate costs, you can afford quite a lot of house in Georgia.

Georgia also offers you world-class healthcare. Throughout the state, Georgians can find quality medical and dental care in large and small communities via 151 general hospitals, more than 15,000 doctors and nearly 6,000 dentists. Atlanta’s hospitals offer some of the most advanced care and facilities in the nation. Georgia also boasts four outstanding medical schools including Emory University, Morehouse School of Medicine, Mercer Medical School and Medical College of Georgia.

Like to have a little fun in your off hours? We've got it all - from art museums to rock climbing. You can enjoy unlimited recreational and cultural opportunities. Georgia offers enthusiasts of boating, camping, fishing, golfing, hiking, tennis or just about anything a perfect backdrop for their activities. Georgia is also a true center for the arts. Atlanta hosts world-class museums, like the High Museum of Art and Fernbank Museum of Natural History, as well as two resident ballet companies, numerous theatre groups and an award-winning symphony.

Crave the change of seasons? Try all four of ours, each more spectacular than the last. A temperate climate allows for comfortable exploration of many of our destinations – year-round. Average summer temperatures are between 73 and 82 degrees. In winter, mean temperatures are between 51 and 56 degrees.
