GDEcD ranked the nation's best state-level economic development agency

What an incredible week we've had at GDEcD. We celebrated our FY17 successes, we were named the No. 1 State for business by Area Development for the fourth year in a row, and Governor Deal announced that we have been ranked the nation's best state-level economic development agency in a survey released by Development Counselors International (DCI). DCI releases this survey every three years, and Georgia has earned the top spot twice in a row. 

This recognition represents the entire economic development community in Geogia. We are extremely thankful for all of our sister agencies, utility partners and all of our local economic development partners who help us keep Georgia on the minds of everyone around the world.
