Georgia Delegation Recognized for Innovation and Great Taste at SIAL Canada

International Trade Manager Priya Verma and Canadian Trade Representative Gail Morris traveled with four Georgia food exporters to SIAL, the leading food retail and food service show in Canada.  Two of these companies, Fire & Flavor Grilling (Athens) and Tru-Nut Company (Atlanta), were selected to compete for the SIAL Innovation Award.  Only 10 companies were selected by SIAL to compete for this award.  Additionally, Fire & Flavor and Front Porch Pecans (Hawkinsville) were winners of the SIAL Cuisine competition.  Congratulations to the nominees and winners!
