Why you should nominate your small business for a Georgia Small Business “Rock Star Award”

Every year, we begin our search to find the next Georgia Small Business Rock Stars. We look for Georgia-based small businesses that are outstanding, out-of-the-box and impactful to proudly wear this badge of honor. Our intent is to salute those that take risks, innovate and impact others in not only their respective industries, but their communities as well.

But what is in it for you? Why should you nominate your small business for a Small Business Rock Star award?

We honor the winners at a special luncheon that is attended by many economic development professionals as well as Georgia government and business leaders.

On Monday, February 15, 2016, all of the winners are invited to attend the Small Business Rock Stars luncheon in Atlanta, hosted by the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) and Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA). Each Small Business Rock Star company is recognized in front of Georgia’s most elite business professionals.

Winning the Small Business Rock Star award means instant exposure for your company.

Not only is your small business honored at a widely attended luncheon, but your company will be mentioned in many news publications, profiled on Georgia.org/RockStars and recognized on the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s social media accounts.

And not to mention…

Your small business gets notoriety and bragging rights.

Becoming a Georgia Small Business Rock Star is an honor you can tout amongst your industry peers and consumers. Your employees can add this credit to their resumes, and your company can bear the Small Business Rock Star badge on your website. This award provides instant recognition, especially within your communities.

If you own or know of an exceptional Georgia small business, nominate them today. The nomination period closes on September 30, 2015.

Good luck!

*Winners will be notified by December 1, 2015.
