2015 BronzeLens Film Festival Submissions Open

(Atlanta)--- May 21, 2015--- BronzeLens producers are seeking 2015 films submissions by or about people of color that explore the multi-faceted complexities of life.  Filmmakers whose films where shot in Georgia and films produced by Georgians (Georgia residence) receive a reduced entry fee with verification. Submissions categories for BronzeLens 2015 include Narrative Fiction, Shorts, Documentary, Short Documentary, Web Series, Student Film, Best Feature Actor and Best Feature Actress.  Prestigious top honors will be given in each category at the BronzeLens Awards Ceremony.

“We are pleased that longtime supporter BET Networks will return as sponsor of our signature ALL SHORTS ALL DAY screenings,” stated BronzeLens Executive Producer, Kathleen Bertrand. “After official selections are chosen by a panel of BET Networks judges, the company will provide a $5000 cash prize award to the winner.”

 Over the past six years BronzeLens Film Festival (BronzeLens) has provided a platform to showcase the work of some of the world’s most talented independent filmmakers.  Ava DuVernay (I Will Follow, Middle of Nowhere, SELMA),  Russ Parr (35 and Ticking, Hear No Evil),  S. Epatha Merkerson and Rockell Metcalf (The Contradictions of Fair Hope), Chris Eska (The Retrieval), Mahmet-Saleh Haroun( Bye Bye Africa, Grisgris, Screaming Man), Alton Glass (CRU), Muta’Ali Muhammad and Jevon ‘NJ’ Frank (Life’s Essentials With Ruby Dee), Elzbieta Szoka, Sam Adelman and Daryl Sledge (That Daughter's Crazy), Curtis Adair and Justin Oney (Little Africa) and Rhavynn Drummer (Good Girls ) are among distinguished BLFF alumni. 

BronzeLens will take place November 5-8, 2015 and headquartered at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, located at 265 Peachtree Street, Northeast. Over the course of four days BronzeLens producers will host the who’s who of the film production industry, film lovers, actors, as well as prospective new filmmakers.  The event will foster an opportunity for attendees to share a creative platform of education, entertainment and empowerment discussions related to film and television and the production of both.
