Atlanta All-Stars: What makes the Gem of the South a business hot spot?

Recently, Tenet Partners, a New York-based marketing and advertising company, released their eighth annual list of the most powerful brands. Would it surprise you that The Coca-Cola Company was at the top of the list once again?

Since the creation of the Top 100 Most Powerful Brands list, the Atlanta-based giant has maintained its No. 1 status. Some other entities joining The Coca-Cola Company on the list include United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS) at No. 34 and The Home Depot Inc. at No 51.

These are just a few examples of success stories coming from the largest city in the southeast. Known for a low cost of doing business and high quality of life, Georgia’s thriving cities are attracting people from all walks of life.

Since July 2014, the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) has announced eight corporate headquarter re-locations in Georgia, creating over 2,000 jobs and generating more than $102 million in investment. Most recently, Porsche Cars North America broke ground on its headquarters in Fulton County, One Porsche Drive.

With a booming economy and a plethora of resources for businesses, including programs and partnerships to keep companies competitive, including providing direct access to the best and brightest minds in the industry, it is no wonder there are 17 Fortune 500 and 31 Fortune 1000 headquarters in Georgia.

Whatever your reason for coming to Georgia, whether it be the ideal climate and classic soul food dishes,  or the major pro-business resources aimed at helping companies thrive, the Peach State is the perfect place to prosper.
