SCAD's aTVfest This Weekend!

The third annual SCAD aTVfest kicks off today, February 5, 2015, and runs through Saturday, February 7 in Atlanta. Events include screenings, panels and awards and will be held in the school’s main campus building at 1600 Peachtree Street, its Digital Media building across the street, and its newly acquired SCADshow theater on 14th street. Parking is free and shuttles will run between venues.

In addition to early looks at new shows including “Ellen’s Design Challenge” (HGTV),  “Tales of the Grim Reaper” (HBO), and  “American Crime” (ABC), screenings of current series including “Backstrom” (FOX), “Empire” (FOX) and “Salem” (WGN)  are also part of the festival, each followed by a panel discussion with cast and production team members.

Panel topics include production, comedy, digital design, television visual effects, scheduling, casting agents, auditioning, and more.

Special awards will be presented to actor Timothy Hutton, actor Terrence Howard, and the cast of ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder.” Tickets are offered for all events, single events, or by the day. For ticket and schedule information, visit www.atvfest.com.
